We discovered the restaurant Le Canal recently, on the recommendation of a friend. If the outer frame is not the strong point, everything goes inside, a true journey to the country of pleasure. What a nice surprise!!! The frame is cozy, comfortable seating and neat decor. A very attentive staff and a nice boss. The service was perfectly conducted, with good advice on the map, and a selection of remarkable wines. The kitchen is delicious. The smoked salmon home is extra, and the calf ris invites to come back, delicious! Excellent price ratio. Beautiful address to try and recommend, rare in the region. Thank you, it's so good;
Do not formalize on the neighborhood that is not very bucolic because as soon as we open the canal door, we appreciate the place, sober and elegant. Excellent warm welcome. The menu is varied, the dishes are greedy (the fish cooked as necessary, nestled, the oysters come from Gillardeau, the meat of the table also feasted, the cake with citrus and 3 chocolates was a delight, gourmet! and the service is smiling. We had a very good time there, I recommend. The hotel deals with uncontacted delivery, and room rental.
Very good cuisine, very good wine list. The owner and his team are very pleasant. A good variety of choices, the owner adapts very well to the special requirements of the customers. A team that has a smile. One of the few establishments in the region where you can eat correctly, with quality products, without having to have lunch in a food chain.
Organization of a professional event for 10 people in the restaurant. Thierry, the restaurateur, managed everything to the perfection of setting up breakfast, passing through the installation of the meeting room, to the luncheon. A complete and quality service, I strongly recommend. We'll come back for the next ones.

Great time spent on the channel, thanks to the whole team for the welcome and the meal that was a real delight!!! Fresh homemade smoked salmon and foie gras have feasted my taste buds without forgetting the good wine offered by the chef!
Very well welcomed and served by the boss. I especially liked the duck thigh with its crispy skin. Vegetables melt but are too cooked to my taste (I like the crunch of food). I hope I can go back one day, when situations allow us.

The room is big, there's a TV. The kitchen is simple but varied. Prices are mild: 12 euros for an entrance and a hot dish. The plates are copyy. The service is fast.
