We had booked for the evening and were greeted by friendly staff. Service though slow was cheerful and staff were helpful. Restaurant was busy and there appeared to be few staff for numbers. The food was good and hot ,but slow service to get condiments not given at time of meal. Ambiance was fine but not exceptional. I would recommend it if you want a pleasant meal but are not in any hurry. Sadly we were given lovely window seats overlooking their terrace but a large family of smokers were then seated outside and we had to move further inside and 2 other tables requested closure of windows, as it was very hot that day I felt this was not necessary as there was a large area outside where they...
We came to this restaurant when we thought the terrace had a good view of the beach: first disappointment. We thought that, as we were closed to ports, we simply had a delicious seafood: it was a bit too easy. It seems that the chefs are so inexperienced that they even forget to taste their dishes before serving. Sometimes it even lacks salt... The only good point is the waitress we had, who was young, but did the job. I would not recommend this restaurant
A great place to get a coffee or a hot chocolate in the winter months. But the last three times we were here, the service was shocking. The 2nd to last time was a pantomime dome of waiters. J 'arrive!! was all he advised, but he never did. Last time we visited, we went out. The service was so rude and so bad we couldn't even order our food. On the way to the O Gal 'eau, where again the service and the food were excellent.
It was quite late in the afternoon when we found this place. There were five of us, plus a dog and most of the restaurants nearby had closed. However, we were welcomed and provided with a varied and appetising menu. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient, the food was great (!!!!) and the prices were very reasonable. Hello, we were here in August with our little carline. We enjoyed the reception received for us and for our dog to whom the water was given from our table installation. the staff is friendly and welcoming, the kitchen is very good, I enjoyed with lemon pie. but everything was good and fresh. Keep it that way, people from the north
This place is right next to one of the nicest stretches of beach locally, and you can just stroll off the beach and in for a proper sit down lunch. Seafood was good (expected) and they also had a very good duck dish the day we went. Service was friendly and they also have a good ice cream selection - definite winner.
I can only assume that the property has changed. the staff was fantastic, friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We had excellent food and drinks, all at a reasonable price. We often visit Normandy and all five of us decided that le Vent deserves more visits in future holidays.
Great staff and next to the beach (no view though). We ordered fruit de mer and were satistfied except for languitine which were not very fresh. Very good rose wine and coffee great so overall satisfied. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Simple and quick kitchen. a long-standing summer client, we enjoyed this new setting, your welcome and this new direction. keep going like this and good season.
