I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday in this excellent restaurant!Living locally I have been lucky enough to dine in many restaurants in the area but this has been the best!From the warm welcome and excellent friendly service ( creating a very relaxed atmosphere ) to the mix of modern & old decor, not to forget the wonderful meal we enjoyed. It was good to see seasonal products being used , when they are at their best. The scallops were excellent and cooked to perfection. Every part of the meal was a beautiful experience.I would highly recommend this restaurant !
My husband and I spent a lovely night here as part of a bike tour from Rennes to Saint Malo. From the moment we arrived Virginie made us most welcome. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with a nice outlook over the garden. We had an unbelievably delicious dinner in the garden - there is an a la carte menu, however our meal was the set menu as part of our tour and it was exceptional - thank you Fergal. Our stay will be remembered as a highlight of our trip. Thank you. Liz and Bryn Challis.
A very pleasant room, well decorated, comfortable chairs, very welcoming, charming staff. Chef is married to the lady in charge of the restaurant. Food, interesting, well plated and cooked, we had chosen the 3 course menu but added the cheese later as the portions were small, usual lack of vegetables. All served rather quickly but a pleasant meal overall.
Absolutely amazing, lovely welcome by the owners then to have a dinner that was exceptional absolutely 4 stars to Fergal and Veronique. Rooms were lovely and clean, we will certainly make an extra trip to come back here. No negatives at all here. Might be on a main road but rooms very quiet. Well worth booking. Check their web site!
