pleasant restaurant on the enchanting place of cagnes, it stands out from others because it is the most elegant. good offer of entrances, both of meat and fish, (saumon eaten with crusts and butter), abundant in servings, and entrance and second dishes, French and international cuisine, to review a little !. noon if you want a fixed price menu. ate a very good escalope, not fat, tender meat, big and with a fresh and well golden panure, accompanied by fries and spaghetti (!), cook al dente, with fresh but unfortunately tomatoes with huge pieces of onions, (horrible taste). desserts included in the price to choose from 4 proposals (we ate tatin pie with ice and tiramisu with red fruit assisse)...
We made the mistake of going to this restaurant during a busy evening. The reservation was initially made for two people, then two other people were added, but when we arrived, it was only the first booking and we were told that there were no free tables for four. Anyway, after a little wait, we got the table. the service was slow, I think because of the overpopulation of the room. very disappointing food: camembert in the super salted oven, meat tartar garnished in a very strange way. high quality/price ratio.
In the heart of the medieval part, this small restaurant has a well-balanced map: fish, meat, pasta, vegetarian dishes. The kitchen is very correct, the reception is smiling even in times of great affluence. The little odds are quickly forgiven by a smile, a good word. good quality / price ratio, the plates are generous and well-rounded.
well located round table in the shade. menu of the day with several dishes to choose from. for us the tagliata of beef, tartare of cod and salmon and a salad mozzarella bresaola. Very good. fraiche dessert fraiches vanilla ice cream and red fruit coulis. for 17 euros the dish and dessert.

We took a chance with this restaurant for a quick lunch, we both had salads which was very nice, good service with a smile, we are here for a week so I can see us returning.
very good homemade dishes with a wide choice a very good dessert for 17€!!! to advise for a very pleasant stop on the place of the castle !! We'll be back!
