The French owner of our air bnb recommended this restaurant to us (it was at the end of our street) and advised us to make a reservation. We secured the last table for 2 on a Tuesday night, and enjoyed excellent food - the menu is small, 4 starters, 4 mains, and 4 desserts, all chalked up on a blackboard - the English speaking staff will explain the dishes to assist your choice, and it is also possible to request a wine pairing with each course - we did this, and found the wines went fantastically with our food. The wine room (where you can also dine, however only 1 table) is well worth a peek, and although expensive, this was probably one of the best meals we had in Aix. Photos are of start...

We tested the bellota parmesan egg. for dishes the calf rice was beautiful and very good! the st stone very good but served chechely. For desserts the destructed lemon pie is worth the detour but especially the pistache chocolate dessert that is as beautiful as it is.We loved the sucettes offered with white and coconut chocolate!
