We stopped here for lunch on the way to Rocamadour as we wanted to stop somewhere quiet and not touristy. This place was perfect. It had a great menu (including a midi menu and menu des enfants . We had the carpaccio which was superb with salad and home made chips. The steak hache for my son was great too. Friendly and quick service. Not a cheap eat but definitely worth the price for a wonderful three course meal. The waitress spoke great English (we did try in French! and we would truly recommend this gem.
Avec sa situation inhabituelle en plein virage du charmant village Lotois de Montvalent, ce petit restaurant a de quoi surprendre... bien agréablement ! L'accueil est chaleureux, tout le monde est aux petits soins, la terrasse agréable même avec la route proche ce n'est pas si dérangeant. La cuisine est créative juste ce qu'il faut, fraiche et goûteuse, dans cette gamme de prix raisonnable c'est le genre de table que l'on aime. Ne changez rien.
We drove 38 km all around the mountains to get here and have been twice in 4 days as the food, service, views and ambience are superb. All members of the staff are friendly and helpful and speak English. The menu is varied and has great choices for 1) me a very fussy eater, 2) cousin who is a vegetarian and 3) the two men in our group. We will definitely come back
Just happened upon this restaurant. Arrived a little before 1pm and it was busy. Service with a smile. On the €24 menu we had good food with creative slants. The meal was good value and the carafe wine very acceptable. Super view from the terrrace.

Soirée agréable et convivial, service efficace et chaleureux, une serveuse qui a assurée tous le long de la soirée et des assiettes copieuses, soigneusement préparées pour nous combler. Je recommande fortement.
Finally we could have dinner here. Creative kitchen with a surprising choice. Good menu, well prepared. Very friendly staff, so we will come back! What a view.
Du lourd ! Menu à 19 h et 30 euros. Tout est délicieux, oeuf parfait,carpacio de boeuf, duo de porc, filet de dorade, desserts délicieux ! Rare !
Nous étions 10 et chacun d'entre nous s'est régalé. Avec un accueil inégalable. Ce petit restau vaut le détour !
