we stumbled over this restaurant when we walk the harbour. it is good looking, up looking and has a mesile recommendation plus others. my wife and I sat right at the water at the boats very picturesque. service was casual, but good. fast. contempt. polite. they presented us all their fish of the day on every big plate that was theatrical, but a nice piece of showmanship. my wife ordered the smallest dorad they had and I the grilled lobster. at the beginning she had the gazpacho and I had the corgettes squash blossom. we were a little nay about how the whole fish ding works. they came back to show us the fish and the lobster, and said how much everyone weighed. we smiled and safe, cool, but w...

Our night of the trip and in Bonifacio our hotel recommended Le Voilier for seafood. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff was so friendly and professional. There was a woman who managed the room (I wish I...knew her name) was wonderful and spoke perfect English. We had delicious burrata salad to start and that ugly red fish which is actually a delicious white fish for our entree. You get to pick your fish, they show it to you when cooked and then take it back and filet it for you. Presentation and quality was perfect. Very nice staff and view on the port. The terrasse is very pleasant and the atmosphere is very romantic and cost. However the food is very very expensive, same for the wine (no bottle below Even if the food was good and of high...quality (fish and lobster) we have not been well advised by the waitress who told us that a fish of was not enough for people and that we should go for the fish and a lobster of grams, to have enough. At the end, we had to struggle to finish our plates indeed, we had taken a starter before.. and the bill was very high. Four gentlemen enjoyed a late lunch in August. The hors d'oeuvres, consisted of mostly vegitarian dishes. The main course was fish of the day and that's what drives the cost throught the ceiling. Sure, it tasted great, but was it worth it? i don't really...think so. Waitress Amélie did a great job though.

my god never had such an expensive meal. euro for two! no bottle of wine! wein on the glass. I ordered a lobster pasta, but who would have expected to pay euro for a bowl pasta. I feel embarrassed to have chosen this restaurant and it is an insult to any healthy sense to calculate or pay these prices.
