First and foremost, NONE of the staff wore masks that serve the public. The tables were designed for social distancing, but not with the patrons. Located at south east corner of the Highland Green Professional & Medical Centre, it is easy to overlook Leah's Bar and Grill (LBG). This mid-sized neighborhood pub is best described as a "Dive Bar" in the sense that it is a well-worn yet comfortable place offering cheap drinks and daily specials to established clientele who seemed right at home with the dark lighting, classic rock music, pool tables and VLT's.The service was excellent: fast, friendly and attentive. Wife and I went for wings, hit the door through the crowd of smokers. Upon entering the square, a clamped pack was found, a table that was set up on the dance floor. We didn't notice a social distance, we had 3 tables pushed together with 10 seats... together. The only compliance was that the VLT screens had between them. Very disappointed by the wings and service, woman refuses to ever go back. Someone must warn Alberta Health with the non-conformity of Covid-19. The place is well sketched.
Visited a few times in June, great pub atmosphere! Free popcorn some nights which is great! Food was great, typical greasy bar food but delicious!! It looks foolish. From the outside view of the parking lot you do not expect an extensive menu and good food. We thought the back lounge was very dark. The front area was brighter and more inviting and had the pool table surrounded by high tablets and stools.
Service was extremely badly unfriendly waitress and very slow, she didn't seem to have any people skills rude and not just mean ... Food was good service was the worst I ever experienced!!!
Went on karaoke night and it was a blast. Waitresses were excellent and on top of things. Wings and pizza were good. Will go back for sure.
