Ein historischer Ort in Linz, ein gemütliches kleines Lokal mit einer schönen Atmosphäre. Ich war an einem regnerischen Samstagmorgen hier und es war schön, zwischen Einheimischen zu sitzen und eine Pause vom Einkaufen zu machen. Ich muss sagen, dass mir der Leberkäse überhaupt nicht gefallen hat. Aber ich denke, es war mein persönlicher Geschmack, ich fand ihn hart und fettig, aber so wie er sein sollte. Essen und Bier waren wirklich billig, also war das ein Pluspunkt! Ein großer Nachteil ist jedoch, dass sie keine Karten akzeptieren, was für mich heute inakzeptabel ist. Alles in allem versuchen sie, typisches lokales Flair zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis anzubieten.
I've been there for a thousand times over the years and I was never disappointed (just recently registered for this page). Leberkas-Pepi is always delicious, no matter if you are out for the night and want to have a quick bite or you just want to have lunch in your break. Pepi offers a multitude of different products (unless you're vegeterian, you will find yourself a treat) – personally, I would recommend the Chili-Käs Leberkäs though. If you're in for a snack, order a Leberkas-Semmerl (kaiser-bun with Leberkas in between); if you're in for a meal, order 200g Leberkas with a Flesserl and maybe some mustard and pepperonis on the side.
Unsere Familie von 11 Personen hielt sich in diesem kleinen Lokal auf Empfehlung meines österreichischen Cousins auf. Sie bestellten den Sampler-Teller und mehrere Sandwiches. Allen hat es geschmeckt. Wir hatten einen guten Service und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem authentischen österreichischen Essen. Das ist immer unser Ziel, wenn wir an einem neuen Ort ankommen.
One can choose between at least 10 different forms of Leberkaas. The food tastes very good and the persons are quite nice. Of course it is some sort of "fast food", so the ambience is not the most appealing one. So do not expect a great restaurant. Nevertheless: i can recommend this shop. This place are my favorite for this really regional snack. I have search this snack in several cities and I didn't find some similar, the meat, several flavor options, the fresh bread, the most (Apple Sider) all is perfect and delicious.. you can find one on the main train station and other near from the center on old town.
Einfach tolles Essen, es ist immer viel los, egal zu welcher Tageszeit. Schnapp dir eine Leberkassemmel und ein Bier und sei fröhlich. Wir haben Spinat, Paprika und Trüffel probiert, aber mir schmeckt das Original immer noch am besten.
Just great food, it's always busy, no matter what time of the day. Grab a Leberkassemmel and a beer and be merry. We have tried spinach, Paprika and truffel but I still like the originial one the best.
