This is our favorite diner in Shoreline. The booths are clean and comfortable, and there's plenty of counter space available. The staff is always friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s not a fancy or stuffy place; if you're looking for a great classic breakfast, this is the spot. The burgers and other dishes are consistently well-prepared in a traditional style, just like breakfast. While it’s not the cheapest option, you definitely get your money’s worth. Went there for breakfast while visiting family in Seattle. Almost didn't go inside because of Seattle's very intrusive proof-of-vax mandate. Realized it's not the fault of their personable staff that their county officials are control freaks and that this policy has most likely crippled their business so we bit the bullet by showing our private medical records to an embarrassed hostess so that we could consume food in King County. The food was great and the service was perfect.
For over ten years we have come here with friends and family and have never been disappointed. From great breakfast and lunch to amazing dinners, specialties and milkshakes you can go wrong with nothing on the menu. The staff is amazing and makes the place very secret. My order is the Nicks Deluxe Burger, it is a kind of burger for which you need a great appetite and I would also check the homemade cinnamon rolls, they are GIANT and can easily feed two or three.
This was my 1st experience at Leena 's. We rec 'd excellent customer service from the time we sat down until we left. They definitely practice the 7 visit rule. I ordered a Belgium waffle w/ my breakfast. It tasted so good that I almost ordered another. My friend was able to get a fruit cup instead of toast. Coffee tasted fresh, not burnt. Went there for a first time few weeks ago. The place is very clean and the waiting staff are genuine, warm and friendly. A wonderful place to visit for comfort food that isn’t overpriced, with just the right touch of ma/pa diner vibes without the go-getting speed of Seattle. Definitely a recommendation id pass along. Thank you for such great service!
Even when it’s not busy, this restaurant maintains a clean environment and consistently serves delicious food. It has become our go-to spot for comfort food, and I’m so glad this diner is around. It’s exactly what my heart and soul needed.
