Really good chicken. I got the chicken breast strips and it’s like they literally tore that awesome giant first hunk of tender breast meat off the breast, you know the one I mean, and then deep fried that. Biscuit was buttery and had a good texture, was just a little over cooked, I bet when they’re perfectly cooked they’d make the whole meal. Macaroni salad tasted like the kind a nice Midwest grandma would bring to a church potluck. A little cheese, some crunchy veggies like onion. They even had fried liver and gizzards, my mom would’ve been stoked!Super reasonable prices for what we got. Everyone working there was super young AND were both super polite and attentive.Would definitely go out...
I am 54yrs old and have eaten at lees since i was 9 yrs old. I havent eaten there for about 6mos..it has went downhill sadly. I ordered a 16peice meal..47.00 wow..however the way lees used to be i could handle that however..there was 3 breasts and the rest was wings n legs.out of 8 biscuits we got 5..out of 2 large gravys we got 1 no napkins no eating utensils..chicken cold..unbelievable trully and sad when i am forced to say kentucky friex outrates lees at this point and i never rhought id hear me say that.
Waited 15 minutes for refill on ayce fish. Had altercation with owner. I wouldn't have asked for it to go if they hadn't taken so long. Several refill orders came up before mine. He said we don't normally do the refills to go. I explained that I waited 15 minutes. I would not have asked for it to go if it didn't take so long. He continued thinking he was right. I won't be back.
The last couple times I have been here the chicken seems it has been sitting in the bin a bit. I even got there at 430 pm to get fresh. The fried pickles were soggy as if they pre fried them before my order. 48 dollars later I wasn’t very happy.

The chicken leg was 3 1/2 inches long. The thigh piece was small. I spent nearly $8 on Emaciated chicken and didn't find out until I had driven 10 miles. This used to be a good place to pick up dinner on the way home. Not anymore.
Left with out right order. Chicken was dry.We do not live in same town r had to drive back to get right food. Biscuits were burnt and dry. Wanted thighs instead of wings didn't get them.
Extremely horrible customer service. Can’t even comment on the food because we couldn’t get past rude the workers to order in the first place. Won’t be back.
Best spicy chicken, red beans and rice, chicken pot pie, and sweet tea around. The staff is always so polite and fast.

Clean dining room, fast and friendly service. Only downside is no drive through. Food is good.
Very good chicken. Also loved their coleslaw.. amazing.
