Left Field would have to be my favourite reference guide for good, fresh, healthy food. They have never disappointed me after these few years, from their days at Tall Timber. Fresh salad, sauces made fresh from fresh ingredients, not bottled ones. I find them genuinely create menus that encourage a healthy lifestyle! With the current outbursts of all day breakfast menus and contemporary cuisines all over Melbourne, Melbournians are given a lot of choices! However, many of them 'flavour up' their menus with unhealthy processed meat like fried bacons, toasts and lots of potato chips. I find Left Field consistent with their push for healthy offerings. Good breakfast options -- nice gluten free toast and friendly service. The spinach serve was pretty small, but otherwise nice. It started off being very cold but then the heating kicked in. Coffee was lovely! It's noisy, both from all the people and the music, but a good solid place to meet out of the city for a business breakfast.
This was close to my drop off point for car service. Very popular and a lot come through for take away coffee. For me the coffee was average. I had the lamb dish with cauliflower, hummus, pomegranate and sumac, it was exquisite, lamb was really tender,great flavor combination and can highly recommend.
This is a buzzing stand alone cafe. It's fresh and plates up better than a recent silver service experience.The prices are very very reasonable for what you get.Coffee was really good. Lots of places that have such a bitter blend, but this is rich and smooth

The food was fantastic and the service very efficient. We were seated very promptly and the food came out within 10 minutes. Be prepared to wait for longer periods though as this place gets very busy. The coffee however was not great.
Lucky to get table for 2 at lunchtime, we enjoyed prompt service, good coffee, and great choice on the menu. Portobello mushrooms looked good and were delicious. I will certainly return to Left Field.
Awesome food with heaps of options to suit everyone. Serves are big enough to feed two people instead of buying two dishes which is a bonus! Would recommend the cauliflower - so good!
The food was ok ... but the interior noisy and service average. The staff did not seem to care about our coffee being luke warm. Thete are much better options locally.

If you're after a great coffee, this is the place to go. The food is original and pushed the boundary to what is normally expected. A great experience all round.
Great food and coffee. Overcrowded ,45 minutes for coffee to arrive. Long queue but won't allow bookings. I will still go back.
