From the moment I stepped through the door, she greeted me with a warm smile, instantly making me feel welcome. Throughout the evening, Kate’s attentiveness and professionalism were impressive. Overall, my experience was quite enjoyable, though the meals fell short of exceptional. - The crab cake appetizer was excellent. - The Nori Chili Crusted Yellowfin Tuna was cooked to perfection, but the fancy rice was clumped together, suggesting it had been sitting for a while. - The Rainbow Trout was delicious, but unfortunately, the asparagus was overcooked. Perhaps Legal's isn't quite as good as it once was (I don't visit often), but I'm definitely willing to give the Hingham location another chance—or even several chances.
I am a big fan of Legal. This visit, however, was disappointing. Perhaps it was not the right venue for Easter. It was not crowded during the 3-5 time frame. The food was mediocre. While the swordfish was good, the burger was not. Nor was a Caesar salad with chicken. I’ll likely come back, but I’m certainly not in a hurry.

A very nice experience at LSF Hingham. We were greeted warmly and even though a little early for our reservation were seated promptly. Food was good and our server Victoria did a great job.
The scallops were wonderful… cooked beautifully and served with a very good corn and cheese combination. Service was attentive. Noise was pretty awful: very loud.
Worst whole belly fried clams- overcooked, tough and mostly strips- and very expensive! Sushi rolls and service good but very noisy!
