The main reason we visited this restaurant was for the she crab soup, which my wife really enjoyed. She requested they go easy on the Old Bay seasoning, and they complied. I ordered the fish and chips, one of my favorite dishes. The fish was served piping hot and nicely fried, but unfortunately, the fries were disappointing. They seemed to have been pre-fried and kept warm for too long. When the fish was ready, it was placed directly on top of the fries in a cute wire mesh basket, which resulted in a greasy mess and steamed fries underneath. This could have been one of the most disappointing meals of 2022. We arrived at around 2:30pm and the restaurant was practically empty (but I could hear the staff talking about preparations for a Holiday Party for 50 that would be seated at 5pm). They asked us to sit and wait for a table, which wasn't a big issue, but 15 minutes sitting in an empty lobby of a largely empty restaurant only to be seated at a table that was 10 feet away seemed silly... Let us sit, give us water and ask us to give you a few minutes. But the MEAL was far worse than the arrival. I would give them 4.5 stars but we know Google doesn't allow that so i went with 4. Another chain I truly enjoy when I'm not eating at hole in the wall, michelin star, or mom and pop shops is Legal Sea Foods. The quality is decent, the staff is well trained and the restaurant is clean. Food is served at a timely manner even when it's very busy. I definitely recommend if you're at King of Prussia mall and hungry to check it out or if you make a trip to Boston! The only reason I took off a star was the limited menu and being out of salmon when I went which is my go to order. Still a great experience
After a long day at the mall my family and I wanted to enjoy a good dinner together. With so many restaurant choices in that area, we are glad we picked this establishment. We were presently surprised with a great dining experience at Legal Sea Foods. Food was delicious and prepared to our expectations. The most appreciated part of the experience was our server. This young lady had a smile on her face though out, she was very pleasant and made sure our table got the attention. We will definitely return for more pleasant dining events. Kim as bartender! She is awesome! She is very phenomenal with services! I went there with my boyfriend to taste oyster. I haven’t tried raw oyster in the USA after I moved from Thailand . This place is my first place I tried raw oyster. I am not sweet person so I don’t like red sangria. I ordered midnight mojito. It’s pretty good. At the end the dessert Boston cream pie is the best !! I never like to eat dessert . But legal seafood Boston cream pie is my most favourite one! Thank you for your service ! I will come back again !
Comfortable dining room with friendly staff. Freshly prepared seafood. Try one of the chef's special creations. I had the Swordfish Agrodolce. It was perfect! Along with a starter of Oysters Rockefeller and a crisp chardonnay. Note that if you dine on the weekend (we went on a Sunday afternoon), the dinner menu is offered all day.
I had the cioppino and the she-crab bisque, and both were delicious and fresh! I highly recommend this place if you're a seafood enthusiast. The service was excellent as well. Overall, it was a fantastic first-time experience, and I would definitely come back.
