This restaurant here in The Mall at Short Hills is one of my favorite food establishments in this area. The Staff here are delighted to be at work, and it shows. It’s extremely comforting to have employees that are welcoming and polite for hi and bye. I've had the pleasure of meeting the manager of the establishment. I couldn’t help but pour all the joyful compliments I could muster. Ok, now let's talk about the food. I love Legal Seafood. We need to appreciate this location because all the other NJ site has closed. Coronavirus is devastating. I had great service from Legal Seafood in Short Hills. By the way, I'm living short hills for decades, so many memories. Before and after renovation. One thing I love... great service. Unfortunately, the takeover of the company deteriorates the food. I don't know why oysters were bad quality than what you find in Shoprote, H... and the worst... even the employees agree... what happened to Boston Cream Pie? Conveniently located in the Short Hills shopping centre. There's an outside door. Has gluten-free options, but are very limited. Mention the waiter as some of the GF elements were ambiguous. The staff was very friendly and attentive! The food was delicious, although I got another page I ordered. Greater restaurant with plenty of space, but you could call in advance. Would recommend as a beautiful semi-transparent option near the shopping center.
Everytime I am in shorthills NJ I will be ordering from here. Flavor 10/10 Quality 10/10 communication 10/10 Service 10/10. I am a new customer for life now . It never fails that food here is a great experience. The staff was pleasant, the ambience is stylish and relaxing, the food was GREAT! So happy they brought back the Thai Calamari. My seafood combination plate was well flavored and absolutely delicious. My fiancée also enjoyed his seafood steak meal. We will definitely be back! Great opportunity to pack a day of shopping :
Food is good like the Simply Grilled Colossal Shrimp and the Colossal Naked Shrimp Cocktail. Fried foods are a little soggy upon arrival and the store did not include the crackers that go with their delicious New England Clam Chowder, so that was disappointing. The small dinner rolls are always wonderful!
The baked stuffed lobster was dry and flavorless. I have dined at legal often. I see it as my go to. The delivery was perfumery, and actually could not be consumed. We threw away 64.00 of this 97.00 order and ha a ham and cheese sandwich. I will NEVER order from or dine there again. Quite disappointed,

The burger is excellent! Great flavor and awesome choice for those who don't like seafood. The grilled salmon is great too.
