The food is outstanding seasonal menus and the most incredible anchovy butter pasta I’ve ever eaten. The cannolis are iconic and the focaccia is so moist and fluffy. Genuinely the best Italian food out of Italy and surpasses a lot within Italy too! Nothing is too much for the staff, Alice and the team are so attentive and helpful. The wine recommendations and food paring is unpretentious but completely expert they know their stuff! We had Tom as our waiter and he was so kind, helpful and it was just lovely to see a team of people that wanted to be there. The service MADE our dinner an experience. Highly recommend Legare to all! I was drawn in by the Michelin Guide mention, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The food was fine, but nothing special – quite basic for the price, with none of the creativity or flair you'd expect from a place with that kind of recognition. The wines I tried were just okay – drinkable, but forgettable, I didn't get the best old fashioned either. Overall, it felt like I paid a premium for an average meal and experience.
