We were in here for lunch on a cold sunny winter day. The restaurant is located just outside of Coquitlam Centre and parking is fairly easy. I do not recommend the underground parking in the building because of the limited space but try street parking or even across the mall. Foodwise: We had the creamy corn soup, the zha jiang mian (dry black-bean noodles Beijing style), and the beef pancake rolls. They were all delicious. However I found the pancakes a little on the greasy side this time compared to my last couple of visits. I had read the reviews and heard that it can get busy so we arrived at 11am when it opened. Sure enough, right after we ordered, the restaurant started filling up. Their variety of food was impressive. On the recommendation of one of the reviews here on Trip Advisor, we ordered the cumin fried noodles with beef. It was very tasty with a nice heat. I would order them again. The second dish was the beef rolls which were comparable to other Shanghainese restaurants. Finally the Xiao Long Bao were nice as well. The 3 dishes amounted to under $28 which I think is reasonable and the 3 of us were full. I would go back for sure.
Stopped by for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Have always wanted to try this place out and am glad to say we were not disappointed.Right to the food ( after all that was why we were there): For starters we tried the Hot and Sour soup - delicious, lots of goodies and the right amount of spiciness. We ordered the Green Onion Lamb, Thousand Chili Chicken and the Mah-Po Tofu and steamed rice. Service was good and the overall experience was good.Definitely will recommend this place and come back again.
My family recommended this place for a quick lunch. To my surprise, it was quick and very good. The daily lunch special was of excellent value, including a small bowl of daily soup with your order. You can select two kinds of rice (regular and five grains). You can also order noodles with your order. I ordered beef and broccoli and it was tasty and lots of beef for $7.50. So if you want some delicious Chinese food in the Tri-Cities, this is definitely worth checking out. Their hand pulled noodles are so yummy, fresh and tender. Best place to go and enjoy lunch as they have some amazing lunch specials. My favourite is the Kung Pao Chicken and hubby's is the Black Pepper Green Onion Beef. Also try their soup dumplings, they are delicious!
Loved the noodles - easy to say they are the stuff legends are made of! We had Spicy green beans, Dan Dan noodles, General Tsao's chicken & soup dumplings. The only minor disappointment was the lack of a flavour punch on the soup dumplings. They were good, just not great. All that for less than $40 is a great bargain, and we loved this place, will be back again.
Our favorites are Xiao Long Bao dumplings and beef rolls, the soups are also excellent, and the hand-pulled noodles are the best (if you get lucky, you will see them made, awesome sight!). The space is modern - utilitarian, service is fast and efficient, great place for quick, tasty and interesting lunch or dinner!

Our favourite Chinese restaurant. Get the hand cut noodles, thicker and chewier than the steel cut. Soup dumplings are delicious. Fast service. Cheap beer.
