Initial impressions suggest pub grub and typical traditional meals, as you make your way in through the adjoining hotel. Looks can be deceiving, the food is magnificent. Ox cheek starter was superb, as was the risotto main. Lovely sirloin steak and battered cod. Some great choice on the menu ranging from seafood to Welsh lamb. All presented and tasting to near Michelin levels but with good portion sizes that won’t leave you hungry. Well worth a visit.

Very well presented food in a charming hotel (The Great House) setting. Not a huge menu but enough choice. Good wines too. Service was good.
Got to be honest we have been here several times and it never fails to disappoint. Nice setting but doesn't live up to expectations.
