My 42-year-old niece, who has Down Syndrome, has been working at Lemon and Allspice for several years. Getting the job at Lemon and Allspice after high school was a significant opportunity for my niece to secure meaningful employment, which was not easy for individuals with disabilities at that time. This job has given her a sense of purpose and allowed her to take pride in her love of baking. I commend Carolyn Lemon for her vision in creating Lemon and Allspice as a welcoming workplace and valuable employment option for adults with disabilities.

my 42-year-old niece who has downs syndrom has been working at lemon and allspice for many years. when she got the work with lemon and allspice after the high school, there was a chance to get meaningful employment (no medium playroom for those with impediments in these days) and more importantly have a sense of purpose and proud of what she loved to do: bake. I applaudiere carolyn lemon for their intention to establish lemon and allspice as a workplace oasis and urgently needed employment opportunity for adults with impediments.

The best thing about this restaurant is the opportunities it provides for my colleagues and I to learn and grow in the kitchen. Our job coach is very supportive and helps us improve every day, while also encouraging teamwork and collaboration among us. This supportive environment allows us to help each other and constantly strive to be better.
