Its a restaurant I visit very often in dubai. When I saw it here in Canberra, I was super excited.
Being my birthday dinner - nothing more interesting for me than a Thai cuisine for dinner.
Happy with the dishes. Especially the chicken with basil - spicy as Thai spicy ????.
Disappointed with the service.
They served main course before the soup.
Then took it back to serve the soup.
Everytime we asked for something it took longer than expected.
Only two staff members to serve where as the tables were almost full.
The staff was not suggestive or interactive.
Restaurant business is lot about food and service.
Hope they improve.
Food was ok but not great. The worst part came at the end of the meal. We had been told the place was closing at 10pm. At around five to 10 as we were getting ready to leave I asked for a glass of water and the waitress said she couldn't serve me water because they were about to close! We had already paid and all I wanted was a glass of water before leaving. I was refused several times until finally she gave in after much hesitation! Never going back!
Walked passed this restaurant on our way to a bar and it was fairly packed so after our drinks we returned, around 8.30pm and there were only customers at about 6 other tables so no issues getting a table without a reservation. Yummy green curry with coconut rice - my husband and I both had the same dish. Bit expensive for the quantity of food.
Lemon Grass has a pretty good atmosphere but the food is a tad average. I've been here on a few occasions and the dishes are either pretty good or slightly boring. Kudos on the service though! The classic chicken pad Thai is nothing to write home about so I'd come here for other dishes.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and ordered the kua gai chicken from their lunch menu. It was delicious but a bit too salty for my liking. I also had the tom yum soup, which was also on the salty side. Despite this, it was a satisfying meal with a generous portion size.
Lemongrass continues to hold its title as the top Thai restaurant in Canberra, just as it did a decade ago. It still offers the most authentic flavors, best prices, and most inviting atmosphere in the area.
Food Poisoning. I was woken up many times in the night by severe stomach pains and vomited several times. Food was delivered 30 minutes early. I was not at home when it arrived and had to rush back.
4 of us from work went to lemongrass for lunch, we were served pretty quick, however the waitress wasn't overly loud or easy to understand.
