We were the only people in for lunch, which should have been a warning sign! But everywhere else was full, so we thought we would give it a try. As someone else has mentioned the waiter treated us like we definitely without a doubt had covid and were horribly infectious. He stood about three meters away from the table to take our order, then delivered it all at arms length and expected us to take the plate from him also at arms length. When we first walked in, he also said we are Thai okay, not Japanese, no Japanese food here. I have no idea why he said that at all!! I found the person on the phone really grumpy not at all interested. Unlike Thai people I know. We asked for a takeaway but was soon told they did not deliver at 9pm which was fair enough and which I respect. We drive down 3 mins away to them and picked up the food. The duck stir fried special (choice leg or breast) I asked for breast was totally disgusting. It was so sweet. The sugar added was scarey. Worst than that was the way I was spoken to on the phone was very I’ll mannered. Will NEVER touch this place again. Palin far superior and at least they know how to treat people. Food arrived and because the waitress was in such a rush taking the order she got the order wrong. We ended up taking it away in a carrier bag. The waitress visited our table 14 times over the course of our visit and was even pouring my lager into the glass to take the empty bottle away. What should have been a relaxed meal turned into a conveyor belt of an evening. Service charge automatically put on the bill is a bit trumpy too, I’d prefer to rate my experience with the amount of service charge I leave. I will not return which is a shame as I’ve had a couple of nice previous visits here.
This was top class Thai food well deserving 5 stars. My prawn dish in a crispy batter was fantastic and our vegetable green curry was very fresh and spicy. Modern spacious restaurant that should be much more popular than it was on a Tuesday night in May. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent service and delicious food. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive without being overbearing and all of the dishes we ordered were fresh and full of flavour. Good sized portions too.
Fantastic range of tasty well-cooked food. No problem creating lovely dishes for our guest who was intolerant to onions and gluten. Well done! Staff were great.
