This is my second time giving a one-star review. I decided to review this place and brought a friend along with me because I heard it was a great spot for Thai food. I'll keep this brief. We went for lunch and there was only one other couple there. We ordered a bottle of New Zealand white wine but received a bottle of cheap white wine instead. When I mentioned this, the waiter said it was all they had. I asked the waiter for food recommendations but he couldn't suggest anything. We ordered four dishes and each one came out warm and quickly. I requested fresh chilis but was given sweet chili sauce instead. My husband and I arrived at the restaurant early in the evening and found it to be very quiet. Despite this, we noticed that there were many takeout orders being prepared. We both decided to order the Thai green curry with sea bass. The dish turned out to be a bit spicier than what I had experienced at other restaurants, but my husband found it to be just right. The flavors were fantastic and the service was quick. The presentation of the food was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the different textures of the fish and vegetables. We would definitely consider returning to this restaurant in the future, although it may be a while since we live in north Cambridgeshire.
Four of us ate here Saturday night and the food was delicious and so was the service and friendliness of the staff. I had my usual green thai chicken curry (to die for) with Pad Thai noodles. Big bottle of Thai beer to go with it and a lot of chat between us on the table. The weather was awful with torrential rain but it was worth the parking and journey.
We went for Dinner yesterday and the food was amazing. Super friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere and great quick service. We had a starter sharing platter for two which was tasty and which gave us the opportunity to taste a bit of everything. Then the prawn fried rice was amazing too. I was very impressed with the level of service. We were offered a taste of 2 different wines before we made a choice. While there was no separate gluten free menu, the staff could not have been more helpful in assisting me in making choices. Then the food arrived and it was lovely.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for years but never took the time to write a review until now. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the service is quick. I highly recommend it!
Lovely restaurant in Brentwood. Nice side and quiet inside. Always a good service with attentive waiters/waitresses. Food selection is good and tasty. Would recommend.
