This new restaurant in Beloeil has taken over the space of the city's oldest restaurant. The decor is stunning, featuring beautiful antiques from China, creating a cozy atmosphere. The owner, Mathieu, is attentive and engaging. The kitchen offers a refined and unique experience, different from typical Thai or American restaurants. They serve original recipes from Cambodia, Hunan, and other parts of Asia, which are both interesting and affordable. The restaurant offers a good selection of Chinese dishes on their menu. The server provided detailed descriptions of the ingredients in each dish. The staff is very friendly and customers are allowed to bring their own wine. It is a cozy environment overall. Additional sauces are not available upon request and are not provided on the table. The total cost for a meal for two, including two main dishes, two desserts, and tea, came to $55. Parking is available in the restaurant's parking lot.
Four of us went at this restaurant without a reservation, there was a table for four left so we were lucky. Other tables were for 2 people.The service was excellent, attentive to our request. When the food arrived, it was just delicioius. The tofu meal was excellent, the shrimp nid d'oiseau was delicious. All meals were good. I will return to this restaurant so are my friends.Mad
Visited the restaurant for the first time with another couple, the owner came over to great us with á very friendly smile and stated it would surely not be our last time. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, however, it was the service that really let us down. We were surprised to be charged extra for sharing dishes, and the apology we received was simply due to a nearby Thai restaurant closing. We also felt rushed to place our orders and leave the restaurant.
I have two daughters, and the ask me to eat at Thai express, but I hate chains restaurants so I convinced them to go here, they hated me, but when the food arrived they loved it. We really enjoyed. And I had a dessert, don't remember the name, but was a fried bread with ice cream, really good.
Food excellent !! couldn't evaluate the atmosphere as we were only 4 ppl in the restaurant ( Tuesday eve. ) We were told that on w-e reservations are a MUST !Service is great and very friendly and the place is very clean,.They also offer a "take-away" service.
