We came here for the first time on a busy Saturday night, booking in advance as we'd heard good reviews. It's a higgledy piggledy layout but I think that adds to the charm of the place. We were given a complementary starter of bruschetta while checked out the menu the specials board. We both chose from the specials board of scallops baked with baby prawns king prawns chozio in the spicy tomato sauce both excellent. We then had the fillet steak with a truffle sauce lovely brown chips. My husband had monkfish with mussels king prawns in a spicy tomato broth with wedges of bread brown chips. An intimate setting but I didn 't find it cramped or uncomfortable at all. It had an authentic feel and I think the comments about it looking like someone 's living room are greatly exaggerated. I couldn 't fault the food and the complimentary bruschetta was a nice bonus. Waiters were very polite and knew exactly what they were serving. The owner, Marcello provided hilarious banter and a floor show all night and I didn 't find him at all intrusive. He added a touch of fun to the atmosphere and the dining experience. Overall a great evening and I can 't wait to go back.

We came here on whim on our way to a 40th birthday party. I am so please we did. The food was excellent and the staff were so lovely especially Marcello. He was an absolute delight!We will definitely be coming back and next time we will bring our family.
