I ordered food 2 Saturday in a row and both orders took over 1 hour 10 minutes to arrive I stay 10 min walk from shop . Slightly warm. The worst thing was the lies the staff told me over the phone. When I called after 45 min I was told on the way now didn 't happen. After an hour I called again. Was told on the way. Didn 't happen. I called after 70 min to cancel the order. I walked up to the shop ,placed an order for the same food. I received my food then the delivery drivery walked into shop to tell me he had just been to my house. This all happened the next weekend too. Food is ok give it a 5.5 out of 10. And a 1 out of 10 for driver effort.
This chip shop is absolutely fantastic; it's my little boy's favorite in town. I must say, their chip shop food is top-notch. However, I decided to try something different and ordered pasta, but I was very disappointed. I ordered chicken arrabiata, but there was no chicken in it. It was too spicy without any flavor, and it came with spaghetti instead of penne as stated in the menu. I was very disappointed.
I placed a phone order for my food at 5pm but had to call again at 6:15pm to inquire about its status. I was told it was on the way. 45 minutes later, my order arrived, but it was only warm. The bag the food was in was very greasy and the fish batter was soggy. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Even though we live just 5 minutes away from the shop, we opted for delivery due to the lockdown.
Fantastic chippy in Bellshill, wouldn't go anywhere else Mario is the best fish fryer in Bellshill and the other staff are fantastic as the don't say no to anything you ask for especially Lesley they are all down to earth people I have gained some fantastic friends
This restaurant deserves 5 stars all around! The portions are generous, the food is cooked to perfection by talented women in the kitchen, and the fried dishes are delicious. The chips were beautifully cooked, and the delivery was fast too. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed another delicious meal with the family at this restaurant. The food was fantastic as always. Cheers to the staff for their teamwork!
