At first glance from the outside, we were a bit concerned because it’s located next to a pizzeria with the same name, but once we stepped inside, we found the restaurant to be quite lovely. After we were seated, the host or owner greeted us with a cart filled with an assortment of cheeses, meats, and a salad, offering to prepare a plate for us as an appetizer. After being seated, we were greeted by the host/owner (we didn't catch which) who offered us a generous platter of assorted cheeses, meats, and salads as an appetizer. We've been visiting this restaurant for years, and we're glad they're on OpenTable, making it easy to check availability. They offer a casual pizza section as well as a more formal dining area, which is a nice touch. The bar is great, too. I love that the daily specials are consistently posted on their regularly updated website. You can choose from comforting dishes like eggplant parmesan or opt for some of their more upscale offerings. It's a fantastic place to stop by before heading across the street for events like baseball at the Duchess Stage.

The Pasta Fagioli was delicious. They served a big bowl and could not finish the gnocchi w portabella and chicken which was equally good. The toasted Italian bread had a slight grilled character- wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
