We've known this restaurant for a few years, but this hit has been too much! It's not even a gastro. we ate well, simple and well-made dish of the day except a lack of salt in the pasta. the placement on the terrace is reorganised! You have to ask the manager who is not always available and always preserves large tables in case a group comes up, leaves you in the shade when you want the sun while the terrace is three-quarters empty. short a beautiful place that seeks more to make a figure, even to disappoint. . . This is not how we imagine restoration.
sunny place to lunch, eating was nice, but the service was terrible. grumpy waiter, who refused to come to the table to take a drink order. we understand the industry as we are part of it, but we would never allow the employees to treat the customers as we were talking about. grumpy, arsy and generally a terrible setting to offer a simple service. kellner was then very rude to ask as answer to the bill!? we are local people who grew up in the Meribel Valley and will not go back. remain clear and find other beautiful sunspots to enjoy a family dinner.
lively, family-run restaurant that serves better than average eating. hidden behind the tougnete lift station, les castosr has often made tablse available when others, more obvious stand places are full. the terrace is protected, and south facing, and a very pleasant place to be on a...son day. for cooler days there are tables in the interior where a log fire keeps the dinge shameful. Dishes are typical ski tea (burger, pasta, Omelette-Fries etc).
Couldn't really miss this place as it was thankfully at the immediate bottom of the slope after a very hard morning snowboarding in freezing cold and white out conditions. First meal in French and couldn't be drawn away from the steak tartare. Not ground breaking...but solid taste with robust flavours. Not exactly cheap but not many places are in the French Alps. Excellent, friendlyy service throughout which was a stand out point from the trip.

les castors is located next to the most popular pists in meribel, which makes this place very convenient to eat before or after skiing. everyone in the group of my friends was satisfied with eating. service was friendly and helpful. price affordable. recommended!
The only other dish to order is the carbonara, Both great lunches and not too pricey for Meribel which tends to be expensive. The restaurant is always nice and warm and after a mornings skiing is very welcome.
general portions of wonderfully boiled Savoyard dishes: tartiflette, omelette, salate. friendly staff and great location. good value for the location. we are skiing here every day practically during our week.
We went twice whilst skiing in April. Tartiflet is a particular favourite. We go for the half litre of rose and the bill is not nearly as eye watering as other snow side restaurants in the Trois vallees.

Delicious plat du jour everytime we've been. Always looks much better than their regular menu (but thing I've had from regular menu has been tasty too) Latest PDJ: lamb shank. Yummy!
We had a quick lunch for about €40 for two including house wine. Probably the best lunch in the Three Valleys
