My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening in this busy restaurant whilst staying in Paris. The hotel had included it amongst their recommendations once we had described the type of meal and experience we were seeking. We booked in advance and given how busy the restaurant was we were pleased that we had. We were warmly welcomed and given a table near the middle of the restaurant. We ordered wine and the menu including specials were described to us. We had two courses as we couldn't manage a third! This is a bistro type restaurant and some of the tables and chairs are high up but that worked for us.
Local friends arranged lunch here and it was buzzing and popular/trendy, but to be honest the food was ordinary but the service good. The food seems to be trying to be simple but different and missing the mark. My veal was tasty and the salad fresh, but others of the eight in the group were not impressed with their meals by comparison. The steamed cod was simple and good quality that was properly cooked. The wine choice was limited and while the white was good, the quality of the red was ordinary.
Been there with work colleagues for Christmas lunch. Ambiance is fine, food seemed good but it was just OK. Wines are fine and service is fast. I got a gastroenteritis after coming from this place. It doesn't mean I got it there, but it leaves you with a very bad feeling... So I don't recommend the place.
The food was really uneatable. It's a pity because there are so many amazing places in the Puces here and this one is drawing all the attention because it is stark designed. I ordered the salmon, served cold with nothing more the frozen vegetables whipped up with mayonnaise ! disgusting !
