We chanced upon this restaurant and were taken with the high standard and courtesy of the staff then the meal arrived. Incredible! Only €54 for two four course meals with wine. The terrine to start is delicious and a 'help yourself ' system. The main course of Navarre d 'agneau comes in a serving bowl with a superb sauce. A help yourself cheese board and a dessert. Next day I went up a grade on the set menus and had venison for main course fantastic! Try the local wine cotes de Tarn,Victorine at €18 a bottle it is excellent. With Meyreuis about ten kms away and the House of Vultures a little further it would be easy to make a super day out in this rugged and wild countryside. I can 't recomm...

In French you say Service a la Portuguese which means Portugese style service. There 's plenty, in big platters, it 's absolutely delicious and authentic. It 's cheap and I wish I could go back tomorrow!!! I had the local Paté(terrine paysanne) which is put on the table in the big ceramic pot is was cooked in. You help yourself to how ever much you feel like and likewise with the homemade cornichons. The it is passed on to the next client. CAN IT GET ANYMORE LOCAL? It was just delicious! For the love of God you MUST try the local aperitif made by Father Vergely (the owning family) called Joli Coing it is a Quince liquer served on ice.... YUMMY!!! I bought a whole case to take home in the car...

From the moment we arrived we were looked after in a very professional way and made to feel welcome. We ate on the terrace overlooking the river Jonte-its a fabulous location. We ate well, my husbands steak was cooked properly and not at all tough. My omelette with mushrooms was cooked well. Extensive wine list but as we were driving we just had a glass each and it was perfect. We would recommend without hesitation

Superb discovery of hotel restaurant of the Twelves, the kitchen is perfect the reception also, we have taken advantage of many activities nearby (house of faucons, cave Aven Armand, cheese shop, hiking... Thanks to all the team we will come back with great pleasure Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Lunch at the Twelve Restaurant. Very good time with excellent local cuisine. Warm atmosphere, very friendly service. Value for money excellent. An address to be recommended absolutely!!!
