We went for a birthday on a Friday night in June. Reserved a table for 8 in advance. The restaurant was not overly busy. The waiter recommended the set menu as it was cheaper which was great But they did not have one of the...three choices. We went with French friends who ordered the wine to go with each course. Starters were lovely but the wine did not arrive until 3/4 of the way through the starter despite asking for it 3 times. The main meals were enjoyed by half the party and the other half thought the meal was overcooked. Cheese they had a lovely choice. Dessert again was enjoyed by half. On many occasions, the best restaurants are usually in small towns and cities. and this is the case of the Hotel-restaurant les glycines their stillness and delicacy are fundamental pieces of their charm. You can choose between three types of menus: from 12.50 €, the menu decouverte for 43.50 € or the menu terroir for 20 € and 27.50 €. different proposals with which you can discover the traditional dishes and recipes of Poitou-Charentes without giving up the quality and good preparation of the two chefs that the part of the hotel is fantastic. the rooms are spacious and are marked. The tranquility you breathe anywhere in the hotel is enviable!
What a disappointment! Really! After a few years without returning to the glycines, which was a very good address, the value for money is not at the rendezvous, far enough! between a foie gras known as duck monsoon, a cute and too cooked net (soak) and too salty that lets think of a warming of lunch, one being said to be whipped directly out of a freezer seen taste, a salad of fruit cooked with spices with badly balanced flavors, this dinner was a fiasco. In the end, a dear address that no longer deserves its laurels today. and we're not tourists. Too bad!
This restaurant has to be one of the better ones in this area. It was a total relief to come into a decent, clean and pleasant establishment. Tasteful decor added to the overall experience. We had the set menu and took the advice of our...lovely waitress about the wine. We weren't rushed, the service was both pleasant and efficient, my only regret was that this restaurant was not nearer to the place where we were staying. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

I find the previous opinions very moved. excellent products very well valued thanks to excellent cooking and mastered seasonings with character! the chef eric caillon made a great move in 10 years and he became an unmissable place during a stage or a stay at me. Very attentive service!
good reception, set in a small corner in perfect apartment. I've been regaled with marrow tagliatelle and melba pasta and strawberries. the wine with very good glass. smiling waitress and very pro. I recommend a very good restaurant very nice setting.Thank you.
Stopped for Sunday lunch as we were passing through the town and discovered this lovely restaurant.The meal was superb and staff attentive. Will be returning, I'm sure!
