After looking on trip advisor for somewhere to spend my birthday eve, this was not a place that stood out. We found it by chance and I am so pleased we did. The service was fantastic, welcoming, attentive and prompt but by no means rushed. The food was fantastic, we had three different mains and 2 deserts and all were presented well, very tasty and just excellent. A very good menu to suit all tastes/needs and a mouth watering desert menu. There was live music which set a lovely atmosphere in the outside seating area. The photos on TripAdvisor do not do this fantastic place justice, the inside is superb but there is a lovely outside seating area which was perfect for a summer evening dinner....
Popped in on a Saturday night with no reservation, and the staff were pleased to squeeze us in. Drink and food orders were taken in good time, with both arriving promptly. All the food was spot on. The burgers were ordered medium, and came with a generous portion of homemade chips. The pizzas were thin and crispy, and the platter of local meats was delicious. Deserts also went down very well.
good value for money: good eating with fish for non-meat dining, spacious bright environment, helpful, competent waiter, easy parking and access for wheelchairs etc. We had a very pleasant lunch here.
