We were travelling South and needed an overnight stay. Pulled into this little village and spotted this hotel/restaurant. We were in our quirky little room within minutes. Dinner followed later and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the added attraction of the lobster/fish...tank amused us (just couldn't eat one after seeing them in there). We enjoyed it so much we stayed again on our way north. Only disappointment was the breakfast. A cup of tea/ coffee and some bread for €10 each ?
We found this place after a walk through the city. Charming exterior and huge lobster filled fish tank inside. Menu is obviously fish concentrated, but other options were available. My son had Coqilles St Jacques and I had the lobster of Fischburg, St Jacques... and longed both dishes were excellent. Dessert options have been varied. Only complaints were the prices that were high for location, etc., but great experience.
WERE overnight nearby, read some good reviews and no one was exaggerated, the food was excellent, but appetizers huge, my men niscoise lettuce enough for 2 and my goats cheese panacotta also very large, so more the proportion if you have small appetite.... My husband's lamb was melted in your mouth and my calf could no longer tender on macaroni cheese!
The Risotto had a lot of cream, 4 gambles and small piece of Squid. Tested like Ambrosia cream rice . €24. The staff were not interested in my comments Made in French. Maybe because we're English. B recommended a B, so will tell them not... to recommend it again. Very expensive to leave in the plate. No good advertising for French cuisine.
