no other word, but fabulous would describe our experience. previous reviews we have advised and arrived at 11:50 clock. each table was filled by 12:05. the staff was very friendly and helpful so we taste the wee before we order 2 glasses...rose the menu offers three “Platten decouverte” with products from the producturs, along with several huge salads and single dishes such as tagliatelli with foie gras sauce. we ordered the largest “decouverte” plate to share. it consisted of a huge escape sausage that was absolutely delicious, foie gras, rillettes de canard, dried duck breast and a selection of 3 different cheeses, with handcrafted broths, surrounded by a fantastic salate of melons, beetro...

the restaurant is in the old town with a beautiful view of the St. It's intimate inside and there are shady tables outside. the reception is friendly and the service is very good. the lunch menu is not long, but the choice range is good. There are three salads, and the one we had was impressive. the range of ingredients was wide, the combination of flavors was delicious and it was a generous portion. We also had tagliatellatellatelle with foie gras (which might be controversial for some); It was beautifully cooked, with fresh pasta. the dish of the day (Lamb) looked well as, as were desserts (all individually and freshly prepared). the chef is responsible for the success of the dishes, of co...

Excellent place to eat at midday, it gets very busy so we always book a table as on both occasions on this visit there were quite a few turned away or asked to come back later. Anyway the menu is all products from the local...producers, it comes mostly as salads some warm some not but the taste is superb, I haven 't gotten past the degustation dish yet. The wines are all local and again they will let you taste before you order, the staff are all very friendly and helpfull and explain what is on you 're plate and are very knowledgeble about the wines you order. We can spend several hours watching the world go by and sampling the products, you have to try the tarte aux noix, wow. Can 't wait t...

we were heading to another restaurant but let's hesitate to see the menu. nearby were the small producers and it seemed a much better option and that was what turned out to be. servers were friendly and helpful and food was excellent. We each had different dishes. One was foie gras with truffle sauce, a salad composed with paré and terrines and I had duck jam. We had a beautiful rose I bought three bottles to take away. the food was delicious, the wine was excellent, the magnificent setting overlooking the lot and the company is an opportunity for the small producers of delicious French cuisine. we recommend you make a point if you visit the small producers and enjoy their fair, you will not... a colleague and I were walking around and fell on this shop. We were interested in tasting local wines and when we crossed the door, we were welcomed and offered tastings of several wines. We also chose lunch, which was really spectacular. I'm not one for all foie gras but I had a delicious salad with duck rillettes and a delicious rocamadour cheese with honey and nuts. We also selected the high-end wine, which was frankly exceptional. Continue to visit this store every time I come back to thishorse...... the gentleman who manages the store is a real ambassador of cahors and makes you feel welcome as soon as you cross the door.

food and quality wine here. We had the regional discovery plate that was beautiful. quality to the end. excellent duck thigh rillettes, foie gras, gésiers and cabecou. There is a small dining room behind a shop that serves as a market for a group of producers. the guy who served us was a winemaker, really nice and very generous about the wine of the other producer they stored. Once we're done, he gave us samples. We will certainly come back and this place is certainly an incentive to visit it more often.

The TripAdvisor note is wrong it is open! Brilliant little shop at the back of the cathedral selling local foie gras, duck and wine but they also have a terrace serving a variety of super, sensibly priced, salads based around their local products. Welcome...and service excellent but you you may need to be patient to pay as customers all want to chat and buy in the shop! The only drawback? you do need to book. We’ll be back when we visit Cahors again.
