we had the pleasure of marrying les pierre plates. high times are not amazingly difficult. one at the top of a mountain is no exception. julie made us very welcome and delivered a first-class service, delicious food and beautiful champagne. the whole thing went without a swallow. the pumpkin and speckfondue was incredible. our guests woke up six months later. we had visited the bar and the restaurant a few times before and the day after; the beer and eating were always excellent and very welcome after a hard morning of riding. it is served by a gondola, which means we could connect guests who were not in the position to ski and boarding. we could also take our dog who meant the absolute worl...
Views are good but don’t expect a place where you have good food or any service at all. Waited forever to get the menu, then tried to order where the staff pretended they didn’t see us or some just purely deliver order(and not take orders),...then waited another forever to get the bill. Worst experience indeed, paid service charge for nothing. We tried to ask a staff to take a picture for us but she firstly pretend she didn’t understand, secondly after she clearly understood she said : see you later! they do not expect any value at this place, at the connection at the top of the mountain between meribel and courchevel. but they expect service and that was the worst service we have ever experienced in any restaurant in the world! no. exaggeration! the menus lasted 35 minutes to arrive (they had not enough) they got the drink order wrong, then came the first 2 dishes of the 4 we ordered 90 minutes after our arrival, the 3rd came 5 minutes after, and the last dish came to eaten 15 minutes later so the whole meal took 2 hours (for a cursor) and the staff was indifferent to the bad service. Avoid this place at all costs, unless they enjoy very bad service to very high trips. a positive thing...
Excellent food, great view, good service. Situated next to the top of the Pas de Lac bubble lift, this restaurant has superb views over the mountain. There is both a restaurant and a snack bar in this building, the restaurant is on the lower floor,...up one flight of steps, and it is to this which I refer. The restaurant gets very busy, so it is advisable to book., we hadn’t but arrived at 1200. The food is French with a modern twist. I can recommend the ravioli of foi fras and ginger and also the quennelles of trout. For dessert do go for the apple crepe. Service was good, although getting the bill did require grabbing their attention as by then they were very busy.

Les Pierres Plates is located high above Montaret and Courchevel. It has great views to south. A dinner at the balcony in nice weather is a musta - just book the table in advance.The menu is varied and has plentifull of choices. We had entrecote, Savoinese salad and hamburger (mind that medium=>medium- so if you dont like really red meat, it is worth to order well done). Wine selection is medicore.And the bad part is that ciew costs - ,lunch prices start at >20€ and wines >35€. In average a lunch will cost you close to 50€.
I have lived in méribel for 30 and never stop because the prices are beyond unheard (yes, I understand the economy of the ski industry, the service beyond terrible, it actually borders on simple rude to actually be rude because they enjoy being rude. we had only three snucks, a tee, a perrier and a hot chocolate (30.20€), so I can't judge the food, but the last time I was here terrible. please go somewhere else.
Stopped for a quick drink. As others have commented, traipsed up 3 flights of stairs to have 4 staff members waltz back and forth ignoring us whilst they were clearly not serving others. When they eventually did take an order, they were very grumpy. Would...not go back.
the only reason why we rated these four out of five is because we couldn't press the five, but it should actually be a 10 best lunch I ever had in each ski area. steak tataki ingenial and the personal excellent. do not leave this place and btw the view is also super

very pretty terrace on 270 degree, a magnificent view at 2700m altitude. The meal is copyy and good but stay a little expensive even for meribel.
Decent mountain eats. Thin crust pizza and pastas. On the expensive side. Amazing blueberry tart. Has good desserts.
