This litlle place was recommended to us by some friends and we went there for lunch with our four kids after a morning at the beach. we had a salade nicoise as a starter which was fresh and just as it should be, followed by the plat du jour which was a cote du porc with green pepper sauce which was very tasteful. the place was full with local people which is always a good sign. the kitchen is simplpe but good and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy. the staff was very friendly despite our amateur french language skills :) ... just the right place for an easy going, honest and delicious lunch after a morning at the beach and definitely not a tourist trap.
This place is up the street from the waterfront, past the local gallery.You will not find any tourists here, even in August. This is where the locals hide from the hordes so put the map and phrase book away and speak from the heart.They will give you coffee on the shaded terrace, but you might have to go in and ask. There is some system, but we haven't figured it out in 5 years.For a meal have whatever is on the chalkboard on the stoop as it will be fresh made.If you can't take smoke don't go there, but I suggest you buy a pack of Gauloise, crumple it a bit and order Ricard and relax like a local.
Nice bar/restaurant quite close to the beach, perfect for having a good lunch. we took the 12,80 euro menu with a starter+main course +dessert. Every dish was homemade with fresh and simple ingredients. The dessert was amazing! really recommend!
Very friendly staff and great chatter between locals. Great food on plat de jour menu for €12.80 just amazing value, my main steak was a generous portion cooked to perfection. The sweets were home made and delicious.

This cheap and cheerful high street restaurant offers excellent value for money. The 3-course menu is simple, but good. The Aioli is highly recommended and the Moule
This resturant is very good . It is very casual and the food is homely and fresh . We had fish of the day which was perfectly cooked. The service was also excellent.

Fantastic value for money and friendly staff. Really affordable, but really good food and beautiful atmosphere. No wonder it's always full. We went twice a week.
Super 'local' for lunch only but drinks all day and evening. Prices are very reasonable, and strangers are made welcome by staff and locals.
