Maybe our problem was that the first thing we did upon being seated at Terrasses de Corton was to ask if our seating could be changed. We were eating outdoors, as were all the patrons of the restaurant, and we were given a table right next to the door back into the restaurant. Although there were a couple of other empty tables, we were told we could not move. Later those tables were filled. Then there was also the late order of my wife's dessert. She had initially decided she wasn't going to have dessert, and when I got a soufflé, she changed her mind. Her dessert order took 20 minutes or more. we went to this restaurant without informing us because we had made an excellent meal a few years ago. What a disappointment this time. What seemed strange to us is the little world, four busy tables! ! we ordered a foie gras that was good but decorated with green radish and beans and served with pieces of classic bread and not toast. staying at the hotel for 2 nights with family with 2 little children, I have dinner on two nights in his restaurant. The staff is young and not very pro despite the evil they give themselves. the big menu is very good and apparently changes all the days. the cheese trolley is well filled, with cheeses from the region.Bémol : the children are a little forgotten, the chef did not want to replace the fries with pasta on the dish of my children ... abused from the room we hear it screaming on his young staff...And the beef net of my wife was of the same size as mine alone
We were driving from Vezelay to Beaune and pulled off the highway just north of Beaune at 1:30PM time for a late lunch. The Michelin suggested the Terrasses of Corton in Ladoix-Serrigny, noted for its good and inexpensive lunch offerings. Unfortunately, not on weekends....As we were in Ladoix-Serrigny, we had a red Ladoix. Martha ordered a half pigeon and I had beef cheeks. Both did well with the Ladoix. With water and coffee we spent $96 for a nice lunch. They were very accommodating in serving us at this late hour.

We were staying at the nearby Aloxe Conton B&B. We did not want to go to Beaune for dinner and was recommended this nearby restaurant. It was an excellent recommendation. We had the two course dinner with a half bottle of wine and shared one...dessert. Service was cordial and impeccable, each course was tasty and timing was just right. The burgundy wine complements the meal perfectly. We ended the evening with a light tasty dessert. We definitely had a nice dinner at Les Terrasses de Conton.
We spent a lunch for lunch. the menu is quite affordable and the kitchen is delicious and in quantity more than reasonable. It is important to have a taste of traditional burgundy (egg meurette, chicken pee sauce with homemade dauphines apples etc.). servers were pleasant and fast. Very well.PS: special mention for dauphines houses apples.
reception and very pleasant communication with both professional and smiling staff. the meal was excellent and the wine, local, especially good. to the point where we go to the producer's place. in brief a very pleasant moment. We strongly advise and return.
