last minute surprise weekend, my husband hesitates between ottrot (we celebrated my birthday and the violets there (there had been a few years ago). due to the journey he opts for the violets. and we go back with the feeling of having been blurred: beautiful spa part but too small when the hotel is full and swimming pool badly cleaned sand under the feet... spacious room, nothing to say if it is a backache when waking due to pillows. After spending a day Spa at Les violettes, I'm getting mixed up. Positive: The frame is very nice, it is surrounded by vegetation, the building, the installations, the parasols form a nice set. The restaurant is delicious and the delicious dishes. Negative side: Staff. This is cruelly lacking in smiles and human warmth, we are very far from a hotel that wants 4 stars. Also, at the reception, the 2nd sentence of the lady after hello, to which name you reserved, was: it's 196 euros. Is the director so close to his money? I don't understand, all the more, that we're being asked about our car keys on bail for locker keys? Why would I steal locker keys? Wouldn't it be more logical to keep the car...
beautiful hotel with beautiful services but not worth a 4-star... would deserve a general refresh. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but the main light doesn’t work, the bedside lamps are unfolded, the pressure of the water in the bathroom to change... as to the restaurant, extremely long service, we have constantly relaunched the waiter to place order and make us serve the wines (which were served each time the plate is finished.) the spa is super! but slightly small given the hotel’s capacity. We spent a night with vip meals in this place at the driveway. we expected to benefit from a 4-star hotel. correct but not very elaborate kitchen, service at the expense, excessive price, meeting with the new restaurant manager who is aware of a challenge to be faced. on the spa, the setting is really nice but not fairly transatlantic for hotel guests. bathrobe provided to be discovered. treatment at the spa programmed the day of our departure and we made the forcing to change the wet bathrobe of the day before. In summary, the stay is expensive given the services compared to some less secondary schools.
we stayed at the hotel one night and took advantage of the spa with a massage extra. the rooms are spacious and pleasant. The restaurant is delicious. a pity that the staff was overwhelmed at the time of breakfast and that on our arrival at 9:30 a.m. the cheese tray was never replaced. The spa is really nice but the pool was filled with sand and much too cold to my taste (but I’m not brave.) the staff is adorable, but the host person was not able to offer us a hike while many trails leave the hotel. we'll be back
What a lovely place! The spa was exquisite and the staff were kind and welcoming from start to finish. The hotel was right next to a gorgeous Basilica and in a quaint town, about 30-60 mins to major attractions. It was very nice to come back to such a warm and inviting home base when on the road to various tourism locations! Room and balcony were also very clean. As my wife pointed out, They run a tight ship! :
Super weekend with an attractive price offer. Late arrival on Saturday to enjoy the spa so the receptionist offered an extension of relaxation on Sunday until 1pm instead of 11:30am. Nice. Only flat, the pool water is a little fresh. Otherwise, the spa facilities are great! Jaccuzzi, saunas, hamman, rest room... great! Get back!
Super stay with the violets! incredible spa, top rooms, nothing to say. only small flat, at some hours the spa is completely crowded and it is difficult to find a transat by the pool. My husband and I will go back with pleasure!
very well located, quiet, very nice reception, the staff is very friendly. spa space is varied and meals are well served. however, there is a renovation of the exterior woodwork to be planned. We'll go back.
