Awesome restaurant, friendly helpful staff and excellent skilled chef owner (who we had the pleasure to meet with after our dinner . Cozy spot in the garden to dine at, food was delicious and creative. The wines recommended and served were amazing too (complementing all the dishes we ate so nicely . Short 5-10mins stroll from the centre of the town, highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant which we discovered by chance upon a recommendation by one of our hotel reception staff (who said it is her fav restaurant to eat at in Samur! . Please visit and enjoy as much as we did...thank you for an excellent meal!! Cheers
Nous avons dîné sur la jolie petite terrasse du restaurant aux tables bien espacées ce qui permet de respecter l'intimité du moment de partage pour chacun. Peu de place donc, pensez à réserver ! Le service est discret et attentif, la nourriture excellente ! La cuisine est de saison, à base de produits locaux travaillés avec passion et joliment présentés. Les vins de la région sont aussi mis en avant pour un bel accord avec les plats. Mention spéciale pour les escargots, bien évidemment ! Une très belle découverte et nous reviendrons certainement lors d'un prochain passage à Saumur.
An unexpected treasure French restaurant in Saumur! The appetizers of tuna tartare and beef tartare were very well seasoned, and the main courses of squid salad and veal potatoes were delicious. The restaurant has a beautiful environment (with a cute little garden), attentive service, and affordable prices. I hope I can taste it again if I have the opportunity!

Lovely bistro restaurant had a mid week dinner with a party of 5. Inventive dishes, beautifully presented. We recommend the escargot and the canard! Local wines on the menu are €25/bottle
Food and wine lovely. A great night until we were finished and it took 20 minutes to bring the bill. My husband then didn't leave a tip which is very unusual for him.
Very nice setting with incredible food and service also very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
