An incredible experience with magnificent views and exceptional food. The menu is a challenge for vegans as it is in most France, but if you are ready to take over Lacto vegetarianism for a day, it is worth the victim. The cream of mushroom and truffle soup is beyond the comparison and the cook could limit the cream. The Chipolla on rice pasta with bounty and homemade potato chips was beyond comparison. The Grand Marnier soufflé was light, fluffy and tasty. Also the candy with coffee delighted the range. Exceptional.
I consider this the best hotel/restaurant in all of France. The accommodations are superb and the restaurant has the best food I have eaten anywhere, particularly if you like foie gras, rie de veau, and truffles. The owner/proprietor, Sophie Bouland, as well as her chef husband, Claude Bouland are most gracious hosts. I have visited almost yearly for the past 20 years.
Great food. Great service. Great views. Wonderful place to wind down. The caves and small museum in Domme were an interesting visit too. Ok the plumbing wasn't 21st century and installation of a shower curtain would stop a full bathroom flood... but hey all part of the charm.
Happiness for us was our third visit. The best view, wonderful dinner, friendly staff, very comfortable rooms. Hopefully we are back!!!! Far away from Australia, but it is worth it!!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A great meal! Excellent food, excellent service, magnificent views from the terrace. It must be the most incredible meal we had. Very recommended.
