We first discovered this small establishment in July 2017, staying for 2 nights on our tour to Cluny and absolutely loved it, so much that we stayed again for 1 night in September and a further night in October. The accommodation is of a good standard, with comfortable well appointed rooms upstairs. The restaurant is excellent, serving good quality, fresh and appetizing food, locally produced. It is very popular with local people and regular patrons from other areas. The steak is superbly cooked and a good portion. A big pot of fresh mussels is on order for lunch certain days of the week. We tested the restaurant on 11/11/23 in the evening (with reservation Real house cuisine! If the rating of 10 could exist this restaurant would get it. Whether it was the restaurateur (who also makes server, the room atmosphere that was cozy chic or the flavors offered, everything was there! The customer service is impeccable (in addition to an additional brioche bread for home foie gras, explanations of a particular dish... . Our chef was smiling and made us laugh too (the jokes and the menu). The room is a little chic and shocked and we're completely confused. This traditionnal restaurant offers only a menu (no a la carte) with a wide varierty of local choices. The chef is coming from the North of France which reflects in some dishes. The wine list is impressive. It is usually fully booked for dinner but lunch is much quieter. Efficient service. No veggie options.
The decoration made with a lot of taste, the cuisine of the exceptional Chef (a star would be welcome! , the very well arranged rooms and a breakfast as dreamed. Without forgetting the Chef’s smile and humor. We recommend it.

Very welcome, humour and sympathy. the owner leaves his vehicle from the garage to place our motorcycles there. a very good meal, the ricard has 1€. and not a dream, the digestive served with the glass of 12 cl. good day.
