If you’re in the area, look this little gem up and if you’re not in the area, make the journey anyway as it’s well worth the journey. And don’t be put off by having to book at least 24 hours in advance because the food at this modest little restaurant is exceptional. Once in, you realise quite quickly why advance bookings are necessary because the food is lovingly prepared (beautifully cooked, elegantly presented, wonderful flavour combinations) by one woman using lots of the produce grown in her own garden and bought in especially for you — all completely fresh and no waste...this chef has been doing sustainable eco friendly seasonal cooking long before it became de rigeur! On my last visit...
