We didn't start well . . . when we (2) arrived there were 2 or 3 couples sitting at tables for 4 and they showed us to a tiny table for 2. We asked to sit at another table for 4 and they said they were all reserved. Nevertheless we decided to move ourselves to a table for 4. We had a quite good meal, with fairly slow service. So when we finished at closing time I couldn't resist asking what had happened to all the people that had reserved all the empty tables for 4! Surprise surprise, a gallic shrug of the shoulders.
Even though our server didn't speak lots of English, she managed to communicate with us wonderfully. Service was prompt and thoughtful . . . when my husband wondered what a dish was, she brought a small sample for him to try! We were very impressed with the relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant as well as excellent food!!
Our last evening in pretty Grandcamp-Maisy and we had dinner in this lovely harbour side bistro.. staff were super friendly and food simple and delicious. Pizzas were filling and moules frites were yummy! Loved the laid back atmosphere and very family friendly. Recommend the cocktails...and ice cream sundaes!
We had a great experience here for dinner. The strip-mall feel wasn't my favorite but it did offer great views of the harbor. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food was very good. Our WW2 guide, Christophe Rault, suggested this harbour front restaurant in this little seaside town. It was a very cold October day and the special of the day, boeuf bourginon was just what we needed. Modest restaurant, modest prices.BTW, Christophe is the best. He is at normandy-guide.com
Great little place that was able to handle family of 11 on short notice. Food and drink selection was very diverse and food was quickly delivered. Service staff was was very attentive and ensured the entire group was well taken care of.
After walking most of the day we were all very hungry. Of all the restaurants in town this was the most inviting and had pretty good prices. Nice thin crust Pizza, good and generous toppings. The ice cream was very yummy.
Had drinks and ice-cream before dinner. Very nice place. Like the concept on drink card with choice. With or without alcohol in your cocktails I'll come back anytime Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We had pizza's here and they were good. The service was very quick which is a must have with very small children. Pleasant service. Pizza's were good.
