We were invited to the Thistle for a friends birthday lunch. What a lovely restaurant. Staff was friendly from the minute we walked in until we left. We arrived at 13.00 and left at 15.45. No rush for the table. Hand sanitizer when you walk in, taken to the table by a friendly staff member. Staff had face mask on, tables are spread out , and one way walk system : COVID regulations. The food was delicious. Good value portions. The restaurant and toilet was spotless clean. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will go back.
We visited today for my husband's birthday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. All COVID safety measures were strictly followed, and as someone who was just coming out of shielding, I felt safe with the precautions in place. Our meal was excellent, and my husband, who is a Sticky Toffee connoisseur, said it was the best he had ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The portions are immense, so don't eat lunch before going for dinner! The starters are too tempting, so you need an appetite! Six of us opted for the haggis starter, prawn cocktail or soup, all tasty. Followed with fish chips, chicken piri piri, steak pie, all delicious! No room for dessert sadly. Amazing value for money! Great service!
I decided to try the new caterers at Leven Thistle Golf Club. I opted for the 3-course menu for £15, which I found to be excellent value. The views overlooking the famous Leven Links course were fantastic, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning in the future.

A great place to eat in Leven. The food was excellent with a good choice of menu and good prices. Recommend the roast beef on Sunday. The portions are large. Could have a starter and main or main and dessert but no way could you eat 3 courses. Staff very friendly and helpful.
4 of us went for a meal today, WOW the food was superb, huge portions which were VERY reasonably priced. 2 x starters, 4 mains and 2 x desserts and not one the same, all food was delicious, could not fault a thing. We will definitely be back!
Can't fault this place it's a must if in the area, huge portions but if you fancy a starter or sweet they do smaller mains on some dishes, food is fresh and piping hot . Restaurant spotless and friendly helpful staff. Great value for money!!
Superb meal , excellent value for money , would recommend, steak was delicious. Next time we visit we’ll try and book the window table with the stunning views of the golf course bay

Went for a family meal for 6 adults 2 children. Meal was very good, nice varied selection to choose from as well as kids menu. Staff were excellent, would recommend to all.
The dinner was just okay and not as impressive as depicted on the website. The service was good, but we won't be returning.
