I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always good and sometimes great. We went there last night and there was plenty of seating for outside so we asked to sit there cause we generally don't eat indoors these days. They had several of empty tables and went to seat us at the one high table they had which is ok if you are at a sports bar or they have no other seating but we weren't asked if we wanted to be at a high table with stools rather than a comfortable normal table. The food was good, the service not so much. I had to ask for a menu because nobody went to my table, after that 30 minutes passed and no sever came. It was not busy and the severs were standing talking and laughing and not paying attention to the customers or at least to me because everyone that arrived after me was served. I got tired of waiting so I asked for them to charge me for the soda I had, after I requested the check a server came to ask if I wanted to order something and I was just like not anymore. I would understand if it was busy but they were just not doing their job. Terrible service. I ended up going to their small bar which has an older customer appeal and there my order was...
I've always had great food at Lewis'. However, last time I went, they were having a function, so we sat on the bar side. My pastrami sandwich was served about 15 minutes before my fries and the rest if my party's meals. It looked and tasted as if the meat had been sitting on the grill for a while, them had been re-cooked. Maybe it was overcooked but never had pastrami that brown. Next time I wipe stick with my usual.. the steak tips have never disappointed.

Some of the best food and drinks around. The Lewis Burger is legendary, and the new pizza bar is great. The front bar area is a classic dive bar experience, which is great.
