I had been looking forward to eating here since peering into the restaurant whilst the owners were en vacance earlier in the year. The restaurant is as many have said is well appointed being clean, tidy and in general having a very good feel. It also enjoys a wonderful location. However on the day we visited the restaurant was badly understaffed with people rushing to and fro in a slightly Fawltyesque manner. The kitchen not understaffed yet produced food which was very poorly cooked. The menu was I think over complicated and too long but that does not explain the persistence of the chef in overcooking all the meat. For the first time in a very long time I sent calf 's liver back.....think o...
A picturesque location with a tastefully modernised take on a rustic seaside Normandy gîte/restaurant. The menu reflects this take with a mixture of traditional dishes with local produce (the best Moules Frites I've had! and contemporary dishes. We were lucky enough to stay in the gîte for the week. The place was perfect for a large group of friends with families. Ample space, clean rooms that share the spectacular view that is ever changing over the bay. The town of Regneville-sur-mer is also the cutest and least overrun with tourists we found on our Normandy coast tour by a margin. I cannot recommend it enough and look forward to returning in the coming summers.
A great discovery tonight and next to us, what a good surprise and really the ideal evening with a weather at the top the rising tide and sunset, the dishes going with the warm atmosphere of the places. The top service, well-worked products and the taste of the appointment. Sincerely we recommend and have not seen everything because there is a reception room as well as rooms (to discover also) Congratulations to the whole team (only 3 months of existence)
We had lunch at this place on Sunday noon. We must recognize that the frame is very beautiful. Our meal could have been excellent without a very long wait between the dishes. My meat was tasted with its sweet potatoes. The falafels had taken a hot shot and were too cooked. A little disappointed for a first experience. We'll hear her a weekday. The restaurant has a unique view, very pleasant atmosphere, the cooking of vegetables is perfect. The combination of flavors is well chosen. We pay the price, but it's worth it.
If you don't know the restaurant La Baie in Regneville, I strongly advise you to go. Fresh products perfectly valued, staff at the top!
