After visiting the castle in la petite pierre we searched for a restaurant. but since most restaurants near around 2 o'clock we came to this place. it was full of people so that we got a place in their other great space that was empty and dark. there we had another group, but they had luck and got a table near the window while my man, my brother in law and I removed a place from the window and it was very dark. then the server came and began to prepare our table, then it just went down from there. the server was very unfriendly and very rude, he didn't say anything all the time and we have to tell him how to make his job. first there were only 2 chairs there, so my brother in the law asked h...

Au centre du village très bienUn dîner étape à la fenêtre d'une grande salle panoramique avec boiseries qui donne sur le soleil couchant. Vendredi soir. Il y a peu de convives . Large table à la fenetre.. Joli décor, jolie réception. Accueil et service parfait. Il fait un peu chaud. La salle ne semble pas climatisée. Assiette de charcuterie -( le foie gras maison est une tuerie), truite aux amandes et forêt noire avec un aperitif, une Carola. Tout cela est excellent. Environ 40 euros par personne. Les toilettes sont somptueuses et nickel. Comme l'établissement fait aussi hôtel, nous projetons d'y revenir un WE en louant une des 4 chambres avec terrasse donnant sur la vallée.

The restaurant is famous for this area and the food what you can have here. The food is really amazing and beautiful good tasting. Good wines, good desserts, good and rare side dishes. If you want to try French traditional food you should never miss...this place. Even if you have to drive far. It is really worth it. And i am a food expert!

We enjoyed the €18 menu with a very nice goats cheese salad followed by the local venison stew (Civet Gibier) that was superb and apparently all locally sourced. We had starter, main course and dessert, everything was soooo delicious! We can only recommend this hotel! We chose it because of their prices and we did not get disappointed with the food. Very good price-value! And family run business

Repas excellent, présentation appétissante. Mélange de saveur sucré/salé très agréable.La salle à manger est calme, pas de bruit de fond, les clients ne se sont pas dérangé pas les discutions des autres personnes.

we visited the village after Christmas and found the eating on this place exceptional. the personal is especially beautiful and friendly for children. they have to save some space for the desert.
