Initial young female server was very polite and helpful she could give the adults a good lesson in service. Both of our starters were fine as was my wife 's salmon main course. However my steak main course was a different matter! I ordered a point but as soon as the meal arrived I could smell that it was burnt. I perceived for a couple of bites but the steak was also very chewy and I couldn 't swallow the pieces and left them on the side of my plate. When I eventually got the manager to speak to me she offered us a free desert or coffee. I did have a coffee but just to get rid of the carbon taste in my mouth. I refused to pay for the steak and this was removed from our bill. I had tried to s...
We visited on our first night in Quiberville and as this has prime postion we thought we would try it. It was very quiet for a Saturday night, we ordered and I had foie gras which was okay but the salad dressing was so strong in killed the taste of everything. My wife had a badly cooked pastry parcel with cambert, apple and chicken with the salad and mustard dressing. That was the best bit, next came liguine without smoked salmon and should have been mussel sauce, no sauce no seasoning and left most of it. Waiter did not say a word. Other choice was sole menerurie was dry overcooked and served with bland rice. Waiter needs a belt for his trousers.
Third stay in this hotel ideally located since September 2020. The rooms were completely renovated and we loved the suite... The welcome is always as hot, and they are in small care for customers as for companions on 4 legs. Special sign for Elise. The kitchen is good with local dishes: crispy and roasted apples, cream molds (a slaughter) fish-based dishes: only meunière, liguinie in salmon and black place with mussel juice, or chorizo cod. For the sweet little note, a delicious frozen nougat to fall back.
Not terribly exciting food, not bad either. Cheapish and convienent as we were staying in the hotel. Room has been redone recently to give it a crisper look and I appreaciated it. Sevice wasn't the fastest but I'll forgive them as there seemed to be minimum staff and it got a little busy at some point. And when on holiday, I'm not in a rush.
In the small village Quiberville there are not too many Restaurants to choose from. L'Huitriere has a nice diningroom and a menucard which mostly contains of course of seafood dishes. The seafoodplate is a good starter. The main courses are well but not exceptionally prepared. The service is friendly and fast.
We were determined to get Mussels and Frites before returning to UK on the ferry from Dieppe, so set off along the coast, eventually finding this hotel and restaurant. It was excellent! Big selection of different styles of Mussels, efficiently served and well priced. Highly recommended!
RAS sur le service...e plat commandé mais que dire de la mousse au chocolat à 10.90! A ce prix je m'attendais à être sûr le c.., mais je me suis retrouvé à genoux pour pleurer ! On l'a signalé mais aucun geste commercial, on est que des touristes mais dommage de la région !
honestly, this is the first time I don't take pictures. Maybe too tired. But I assure you that lunch was great. a friendly service of young people at the top and motivated and well-stocked plates in carafe and there.
L'endroit parfait pour une soirée en famille , rapport qualité prix, personnel bienveillant. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant
