Overall an ok experience, I guess. We had a smooth reservation process, although had to wait for about 5 minutes for anyone to come up and ask us about being seated. There was no one up front and a crowd in the front of the restaurant when we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday night. Cannot say that I would recommend this location for any type of meal with which you actually want to hear your dinner partner. My husband sat across a small table and we could not talk. We could not hear each other at all... and no we have no hearing problems... It was just that loud. So not a relaxing or a terribly enjoyable dining experience.
Food was good . Definitely understaffed. We were very happy in beginning. After not getting food for a hour and a half. Asked and it was obvious our server forgot to put order in. They made it right and comped our meal. He was trying to serve and bartend. Very good just overwhelmed Would go back and give them another chance. The drinks were good.
The walleye was excellent. The old fashioneds were superb! Great service and the discount we received from Home2Place by staying there just capped it off! If we are in this area again we will be back!!!
Too loud! Very difficult to carry on any type of conversation. Fireplace wasn’t on. Drinks served in tiny cups. Food was pretty good. Mediocre experience.
