Very disappointing lunch experience indeed. It ruined our morning out by frustrating us beyond measure. Slow, slow service. We waited over mins for anyone to take our order in this cafe style family-run restaurant. In the end I had to call a staff member...over and insist they took our order! It's the same old French problem with so many of this type of beach cafe they succeed in business because the location is so good, but the service is poor and the staff always favour their favourite customers and take their orders first and serve their meals first. I didn't like the table they offered us and asked if they had a better one. the woman said that all good tables were booked. when I hesitated that they removed the menus and just left. we stayed and both had. the mixed fish. it was a bit like paella. it came suspiciously fast. it looked great, but the quality was not very good. it looked like it was thrown together quickly without style. some of the stops were frozen after their menu. the waiters and waiters had all the huge tattoos I found they were completely clean. to pay I had to get into the cash, no idea why they couldn't get a card machine on the table. very good sea view, but also next to the road. I don't want to go back.
We ate here last night. We both chose the fish set menu. My husband had sardines, followed by duo of fish and then the rum dessert. I had the fish soup, followed by mussels in Roquefort sauce and then tiramisu. We shared the starters and...agreed the soup was the better. The mussels were really tasty and the portion was so generous that my husband had to help me out after he had finished his fish. The rum dessert was really yummy; the tiramisu was not the real Italian dessert but I still enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and the view over the bay was lovely.
Wasn’t intending to visit the restaurant but it was so highly spoken of by a couple we met in st augulf the previous evening that we stopped to have a beer and take in the views.We was warmly welcomed by the owner and decided to...have a look at the menu as there were some wonderful smells wafting around and so glad we did,we both plumped for the dish of the day a fish soup/stew which was outstanding prawns,white fish,potatoes,veg and sauce to die for and wonderful service from the two owners and there waitress if your passing be sure to give it a try.

in our week in saint aygulf we often went as a family. that loved eating, had an amazing table with a look at the seeing and made friends with the personal. family of people who care about the eating they serve the people. they are host and the job they do. in comparison to restaurants round, no comparison. highly recommended. comes next year again!
melanie and her team were friendly, efficient, without in the way of the culinary experience. we had the moules fries that were good and for the desert a lemon melissa or a pistachio cap....both excellent. the view of the sea is beautiful. we would. to undo without delay.
The Ice cream here was fantastic. Fast service. Lots of choices. Good price. Amazing flavours. The passion fruit was tangy and smooth. The hazelnut was light and tasty. The black currant was lovely and fresh. This is an amazing ice cream, close to the beach.
Views over the sea were gorgeous. Opted for mussels good sized and juicy. Husband had the House Burger which he said had a strange sauce on it! Service good, overall a very nice meal out

the service is bad! they are not friendly! eating was bad, the fish was still raw. no good place to eat or drink!
Good food. Friendly staff. Beautiful view over the beach and water. And reasonably priced. Would come again.
