Ambiente: Der Reitstall liegt außerhalb zwischen Leonberg und Ditzingen. Der Geruch von Pferden war im Treppenhaus präsent, aber im Restaurant nicht wahrnehmbar. Das Restaurant ist normal dekoriert, der Bereich am Tresen ist sehr sichtbar und die gestapelten Getränkekisten würde ich nicht als ansprechend bezeichnen. Vielleicht ist das, was rustikal bedeutet. Positiv: Der Service war freundlich und schnell, das Essen kam zügig und gleichzeitig für alle. Es gab ein sehr kleines Weihnachtsmenü mit mehreren Variationen von Maultaschen und Schnitzel (die Variation bestand aus einer anderen Beilage), Käsepätzle, verschiedenen Flammkuchen und Zwiebelrostbraten. We made a reservation with 13 people and thought about what we wanted to order based on the online menu. Unfortunately we were disappointed because there was only a very slimmed down menu. Why isn't this already visible on the homepage? Or the hint that it can't be that difficult. Schnitzel, tarte flambée or onion roast in 2 different types... Maultaschen were out, no children's menu available, no snack menu. The choice also fell on this restaurant because it says on the homepage: Quote: ...choose from various board games and coloring books for children. Wir waren angenehm überrascht, dass wir an einem schwäbischen Buffet teilnehmen konnten. Es gab viele traditionelle schwäbische Gerichte. Um einige zu nennen: Zwiebelrostbraten, Linsen mit Spätzle und Bratwürsten. Die Zubereitung der Linsen, die ich kannte, war anders. Schmeckt gut, einfach anders. Die Auswahl an Speisen für ein Buffet war angemessen und ich denke, es war für jeden etwas dabei (sowohl für Jung als auch für Alt). Eine Reservierung wird empfohlen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Wer gute Hausmannskost mit einem Fokus auf schwäbische Gerichte sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen und freuen uns auf den Außenbereich im Sommer.
5 stars – delicious food and great service! I was recently at Zum Tilgshäusle and absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic I had a schnitzel and a roast, both perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. The portions were generous and the side dishes went wonderfully with it. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. You immediately feel at home here, and the cozy ambience rounds off the experience perfectly. Good home cooking where schnitzel and roast beef lovers will get their money's worth. The restaurant is connected to the riding arena on the long side via a window front. This means horse lovers have a live experience while eating (if there is a gallop in the hall).
We were there for the first time, but certainly not the last. The food was super tasty , and the staff was super friendly, quick and competent. You sit comfortably with a view of the riding arena. Price performance is perfect. Highly recommended.
